Munster, Go Home! (1966), with live appearance by Butch Patrick

  • Senate Theater 6424 Michigan Avenue Detroit, MI, 48210 United States (map)

In 1966, after seventy episodes of lighthearted high jinks perpetrated by good-natured monsters, audiences finally got what they didn’t know they wanted: their favorite family of goofy ghouls, The Munsters hit the big screen – in color!

And now, after fifty-five years, whether you’re a veteran couch potato who watched them in primetime during their original run, or a victim of your own misspent youth watching reruns on Nick at Nite, this is your chance to watch those not-so-horrifying fiends you know and love in a real life movie theater.

But that’s not all! We’re giving you two chances to see the movie, because we’re also bringing a very special guest: Butch Patrick, a.k.a. Eddie Munster! Mr. Patrick will be on hand at both screenings for a question-and-answer session before the movie. So, finally, you can get an answer to that burning Munster question that’s been knocking around your noggin all these years. But, even if you know everything there is to know about this seminal satirical sitcom, you will also get a chance to get an autograph from Eddie Munster himself or buy some neato merchandise to take home as a cherished keepsake.

So, whether you’re a re-animated monster, a vampire, a werewolf, or just a plain old human being, come on down to the Senate for some spooky, silly fun!
