Call for Art Senate Theater 2024 Halloween Art Show!

Help make October festive and art-filled at the Senate Theater! The Halloween Art Show will run the month of October and conclude with the 2nd Annual Halloween Party Fundraiser on Oct. 26. It will feature a 50th Anniversary screening of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and a full bar to benefit the restoration of the Senate Theater and its Mighty Wurlitzer. It is one of the largest intact theater organs in the world and we all know Halloween wouldn’t be what it is without eerie organ music!

This event will be a labor of love put together by fans of scary movies, Halloween and our historic theater and instrument. So gather your spookiest pieces and join the fun!

Any artistic medium may be submitted. Please submit up to three examples of your work to hello@senatetheater.com by Sept. 15. Please provide the following:

1-Your Name

2-Title of your work

2-Artistic Medium

3-Dimensions/Weight (if heavy)

4-Price (if any)

Drop off days will be scheduled for Friday Sept. 27 and Saturday Sept. 28 and the show will be up for the entire month of October.

 You will need to make your own gallery tags for display. Please include your contact information on the gallery tag.

Artists selected will be permitted to attend one October film event, and will have the opportunity to sell their work to attendees before the screening and during the intermission. Accepted artists will be notified on Sept. 20.

There is no artist fee to submit your work.

DEADLINE to submit your work is Friday Sept. 15 at Midnight. No late submissions will be considered.
